A treasure trove of snacks and cookies to loot. I was deep into my favorite dungeon crawler while carving all the pieces that went into the two styles available, snacks & cookies. Carving and the physicality of printmaking and sewing processes are a needed break from screen-based games for me.
The base fabric of these aprons was originally wood-block printed in American Samoa on a 2022 work visit.
Most variants of the aprons are drawstring options, the variants that are fixed are identified, the ties of the aprons can adjust up to 78" and have a coverage of 24" x 15". The aprons are thick and lined working as a thermal barrier in a pinch.
My process; design & carve linoleum block snacks and cookies -> prep fabric for printing & place all prints -> cure/wash/iron/cut fabric/interfacing/filler/backing -> machine sew
