Carved these little individual Italian butter cookie blocks during a time I was trying to eat less Italian butter cookies, cruel. Similar to the other base fabrics you see in my work this orange and green print was lovingly wood-block printed in American Samoa. And while I didn't have any Italian butter cookies there, I obsessed over boiled taro with coconut milk.
My process; design & carve linoleum block cookies -> prep fabric for printing & place all prints -> cure/wash/iron/cut fabric/interfacing/backing/trim/zipper -> machine sew
