These looped keychains are a little puffy and can be manipulated by hand for some sensory input. They're imperfect, utility-based works of art, they're also sturdy and lovable.
Each is around 1" x 4", and like all the fabrics I have been working with the vibrant patterned base fabrics were originally wood-block printed in American Samoa.
My process; design & carve linoleum block snacks and cookies -> prep fabric for printing & place all prints -> cure/wash/iron/cut fabric/interfacing/backing/clasp -> machine sew
